The emergence of Generative AI (GenAI) marks a transformative moment in management research methodology. Built on large language models (LLMs), GenAI demonstrates unprecedented capabilities in processing and analyzing complex qualitative data (Le Mens, Kovács, Hannan, & Pros, 2023; Gilardi, Alizadeh, & Kubli, 2023; Rathje et al., 2024; Lehr, Caliskan, Liyanage, & Banaji, 2024; Yu, 2024; Yu & Liu, 2025). Recent studies highlight its potential in automating literature reviews, enhancing interview analysis, and supporting sophisticated content analysis. While offering remarkable efficiency gains, researchers emphasize the importance of maintaining methodological rigor and addressing ethical considerations in AI-assisted research. This workshop responds to the growing need for systematic integration of GenAI tools in management research, providing researchers with both theoretical foundations and practical applications of these emerging technologies.
