Suno is an AI-driven music creation program that launched a web application on December 20, 2023, and also partnered with Microsoft to be included as a plugin in Microsoft Copilot. Designed to generate realistic songs combining vocals and instrumentation based on user prompts, Suno keeps its training dataset confidential but ensures measures against plagiarism and copyright issues. Founded by former Kensho employees Michael Shulman, Georg Kucsko, Martin Camacho, and Keenan Freyberg in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Suno recently introduced its version 3, which allows free account users to create songs up to 2 minutes long.
